Detroit Lions-inspired Vintage NFL Art Print

Our Detroit Lions-inspired art print was created to honour the history of one of the NFL's oldest teams. The Lions history can be traced back to 1929 when they played in Portsmouth Ohio as the Ohio Spartans. Media mogul George Richards brought the team to Detroit in 1934 for just under $8,000. Detroit had its Red Wings and MLB Tigers so George thought it would be apt to name his football team the Lions.
