New York Jets-inspired Vintage NFL Art Print

Our New York Jets-inspired art print was created to honour the history of one of the original NFL/AFL merger teams. The Jets were known first as the AFL's 'Titans of New York' when they began play 1960. By 1964 they moved into the new Shea Stadium and changed their name to the 'New York Jets'. The following year they signed a young quarterback out of the University of Alabama and the Joe Namath era began. Namath lead the Jets to SuperBowl III and is forever remembered for his famous proclamation, "We're going to win Sunday, I'll guarantee you." Indeed the Jets did win and Broadway Joe's reputation was cemented.
