The 'Wooden' Stubby Beer Bottle Art Print

The stubby beer bottle was invented in Canada in 1961. Our old, fat, stubby friend was an instant hit. It was also very practical too, chilling quickly as well as being easy to stack and ship. But as popular as our short amigo was, they were not popular with the ladies. And since Canadian brewers saw the key to expanded sales depended on buy-in from our female friends, American-style long neck bottles were introduced in the mid 1980's to create wider market appeal.

The 'Stubby' art poster appeals to our love of beer and brings back memories of the glory years when the quirky Canadian bottle reigned supreme.
