Robertson Screw: Square Edition
Inv_ScrewSquare_Char_12x12 $34.00Peter Lymburner Robertson was demonstrating a spring-loaded screwdriver when the blade slipped from the screw-slot and badly cut his hand. He decided to invent a safer screw and settled his manufacturing business in Milton, Ontario in 1908 where he patented his invention in 1909. The main company building can still be found on Bronte Street today.
The 'Robertson Screw' art print was inspired by our love of carpentry and renovation which in turn created a great appreciation for such a simple functional Canadian invention.
