Winnipeg Blue Bombers-Inspired Football Art Print

Our Winnipeg Blue Bombers-inspired art print was created to honour the history of one of Canada's older football teams and dedicated fan bases. The team can trace it's roots back to the Winnipeg Rugby Football Club that began play in 1879. The Blue Bombers legal name today is actually the Winnipeg Football Club which they adopted in 1930 when they joined the Western Football League. Their nickname was the 'Winnipegs' until 1935 when a Winnipeg Tribune sports reporter penned an article and nicknamed the team the 'Blue Bombers'.
