Meet Bucky Canuck, Canada’s hardest-hitting, slapshot-slinging national treasure. This spirited little critter is all laced up, sporting a scuffed-up helmet and flashing that classic “gap-toothed” hockey grin that screams True North, strong and free. Whether he’s charging the blue line or charming the crowd, Bucky brings all the beaver-y grit and good humour you’d expect from a lifelong rink rat.

The Story Behind Bucky Canuck—Feisty Canadian Beaver

In Canada, it's common to see a backyard rink, a dog on a snowbank, and a kid in a too-big jersey practicing their wrister until dinner. Bucky is that energy bottled up—a cheeky celebration of the every-kid (or beaver) who fell in love with hockey before they could tie their skates. He’s the mascot we never knew we needed, but can’t live without.

Why You’ll Love It

• Fun, Cheeky Character Design: Full of personality, patriotism, and puck-loving charm.
• Photorealistic Fine Art: Detailed illustration with rich colours and texture for maximum character.
• Premium Archival Print: High-quality paper for vivid colour, sharp details, and lasting impact.
• Perfect for Hockey Fans, Canadians, and Whimsical Art Lovers: Great for game rooms, kids' rooms, offices, or anywhere that could use a little Canuck energy.

Where It Belongs

Add a slapshot of Canadian pride to your home, rink-side hangout, man cave, or cabin wall. Bucky’s here for the face-off—and he plays to win.

Actual appearance versus Website appearance

Framing Made Easy. Made in Canada.

Great art deserves a great frame. And we believe quality framing shouldn't cost a fortune. At ManMade Art, we make it easy to order your favourite prints professionally framed and ready to hang. Our custom, gallery-style frames are made in Canada using materials sourced entirely from Canadian businesses, combining quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design and affordable pricing.

It's one more way we make original Canadian art accessible without compromising on quality.

Classic Black. Made to Complement Your Art.

Some of our prints come in unique sizes, making it difficult to find the right frame elsewhere. Our custom framing takes the guesswork out of finding the perfect fit. We offer a classic matte black finish that complements virtually any artwork or décor. Crafted in Montréal, Québec, from solid wood, our frames provide a clean, timeless look that puts the focus where it belongs—on your art. And because we frame each piece for you, your order arrives ready to hang, right out of the box.

Clear Protection. Built to Last.

We frame every print behind 2 mm thick acrylic glazing, offering excellent optical clarity while keeping your artwork protected. Acrylic is lighter and more shatter-resistant than traditional glass, making it a practical choice for shipping framed artwork safely. And at 2 mm thick, our glazing offers the reassuring quality and rigidity you'd expect from professional framing.

It's a thoughtful detail that helps your artwork arrive safely and look its best.

Made to Order. Ready to Hang.

We professionally frame every piece to order, right here in our Ottawa, Canada studio. From the frame itself to the finishing details, we take care of everything so you can simply unwrap, hang and enjoy.

We secure your artwork using sturdy framing points and finish the back with an acid-free protective sheet that helps keep out dust and insects. Each frame includes a sawtooth hanger for easy installation and silicone bumpers to help protect your walls and keep the artwork sitting neatly in place.

Looking for Just a Frame?

Our frames are custom-designed to complement ManMade Art prints and are available exclusively only as an add-on with an artwork purchase. We don't sell empty frames separately.

This size guide helps you to find out the exact outer measurements of all ManMade Art prints and frames available in our store. All dimensions are displayed in inches, Width x Height.

Prints with a White Border

These have a white margin surrounding the artwork. It is not a separate physical photo mat. The size of the white border is included in the total dimensions of the print. For example, an 11"x14" print with a white border means the entire piece of paper, including the border and artwork, measures 11"x14".

Prints Without a White Border

These are "full-bleed" prints, where the artwork extends all the way to the edges of the specified dimensions. For example, a 11"x14" print without a white border means the artwork covers the entire 11"x14" area without any margin.

Shipping Specifics

Pre-inspection Before Shipping.

We stand by our products. Each print and frame is inspected for printing defects or damages as it is packaged for shipping. We will not ship prints or framed art we would not be proud to hang on our walls.

Packaging Care and Materials.

Every ManMade Art order leaves our studio in packaging custom made for our products, ensuring it arrives in excellent condition. Unfortunately, accidents can happen in transit. If your order arrives damaged, we will replace it. We only ask that you provide photos of the packaging and item damages so we can assess what happened during shipping.

Damaged in Transit.

All orders are carefully packaged in sturdy cardboard containers to protect them from the normal rigours of shipping. If your package arrives damaged, please keep the original packaging and send us photos. We'll get a replacement to you, but we can't process a replacement without seeing the damage first.

Shipping Policy and Terms.

Please double-check your shipping address and ensure it can be received at your specified address (residence or business). If, for some reason, delivery is denied to the correct address, fear not, we will help you find your order. If we give the shipper the wrong delivery address, we will pay for any extra shipping charges associated with the error. If it is hopelessly lost for reasons beyond our control, unfortunately, we'll have to share the new shipping costs based on our standard rates. Repeat free shipping is a one-time offer not available in these situations.
